Church Growth Software now has a child church check in check out system that is a critical part of a secure children’s ministry program. One of the key responsibilities of a successful children’s program is to keep the children safe. It does not matter if they are a regular attender or a visitor; parents/guardians want to see their children are accounted for.

Every child can be checked in at one of the check in stations located throughout the church facilities. Children are checked in to their classes by entering a phone number that is associated with them. After they are logged in, a name badge and guardian tag will be printed. They both have a unique identification number that is needed to be matched to check out that child.

Here are some of the features of the Child Check In Add-on

• The option of printing name badges or not
• Unique security identification number is printed on both child badge and guardian’s tag
• You can select how many labels you need printed
• Additional information can be printed on the badge
• A child can be attached to different classes or ministries at the same time
• It could be used as a self check in or an attendant mode system
• An activity report can be printed that tracks the attendance of a class or individual
• Can be used for nursery, classes, events and ministry check in
• Labels can be reprinted
• This software can distinguish between children, parents and volunteers. A volunteer can check in so a name badge can be generated.

Visitors can be confident that their children are in a secure environment. This check in program can help you track individual attendance, volunteer participation, weekly, monthly or yearly attendance. It generates a variety of attendance reports to help follow-up first time visitors and know those who are missing.

Church Growth Software 2008 Updates

The Church Growth Software 2008 updates are now ready. This Purpose Driven Church Management Software has been updated to make your ministry more efficient. Last year many of you have asked for certain modifications to the program. Our programmers have done their best to accommodate you.

Here are the updates: 

 3. Donation Individual Summary Report – This is a Donation Summary Report of Giving per individual within a Date Range. It is found on top in the Print Reports – Taxable Donation Reports and Non Taxable Donation Reports area. This report works with Microsoft Excel. 

We are in the process of creating Help videos so each module of Church Growth Software can be explained in a video. You will be able to watch these videos on your computer.

Do we need any more churches? As the population is increasing on this earth and
more churches are closing their doors. Read the following statistics and see
what our future holds.

We are losing America spiritually

If the current trend for church attendance continues in America, by 2050 or even sooner only 10-12% of people living in America will attend a Bible-based church.

Established churches are most likely to plateau in 3-5 years

After a church is 3 years old it is not as effective in reaching people for Christ as it was in the early years.

New churches seem to grow faster than established churches.

In the average year, more than half of all churches do not add one new member through conversion growth. With the right leadership, new churches are reaching out to the community. The leadership in established churches many times do not keep the five New Testament purposes: Worship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Discipleship and Ministry. They put more emphasis one purpose then the other. This church will eventually plateau and start to be ineffective. A new church plant has the zeal to keep these purposes in the forefront.

To answer the question “Do we need more churches”? Yes we need more effective churches. There are billions of people that need to be reached.

We are currently working on a few updates to this purpose driven church management software.

Here are the updates in progress.

1. There is a report update in the Donation module coming soon that will allow you to get a summary of all giving selected in a date range per donor. This will give you a snap shot of total giving in that date range.
2. Another summary report is being created in the Ministry module. This report will show attendance per individual in each ministry they are involved in. Again this information will be generated within a date range.
3. We are looking into adding an alternate address page that can be used for mailing purposes.
4. A Spanish version of Church Growth Software will be released shortly. This will help the Purpose Driven Spanish churches use the purpose driven church philosophy in their church growth.
